My name is Carmen Cruz, I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with six years of experience, including one year of freelance work. I’m currently completing my final semester at George Mason University, earning a degree in Visual Arts and Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design.
I grew up wanting to be an astronaut, floating among the stars until I discovered just how much math was involved. So I chose a different path,
if I couldn’t reach the stars myself, I’d create designs that could.
My work focuses on publication design, brand identity, and UX design. I’m always excited to explore new areas of the field. I aim to create visuals that are thought provoking, inclusive, and emotionally resonant, blending clarity, intention, and storytelling into every project.
Curiosity drives my creative practice. I’m constantly refining my style, expanding my technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and seeking new inspirations that push me to grow. Collaboration is one of my favorite parts of the process!
